We are getting this error when we are running a program to upload the sickness description in PA2001, we are getting the following error: 
 
Counting rule 08/1/00/.. does not exist
 
What are the step by step config to be carried out in T554c to resolve this error?
 
Solution:
 
Your config is:
 
EE Sub Group Grouping: 8
 
Pers Subarea Grouping: 1
 
Counting Rule: 00
 
1. Check T556C if Counting Rule 00 exists for EE Sub Group Grpg 8 & Pers Subarea Grpg 1.
 
2. If Deduction of Quota is applicable, See if the Deduction Rule is configured & assigned in this table:
 
SPRO -> Time Management -> Time data recording administration -> Managing time accounts using attendance/absence quotas -> Quota deduction using attendances/absence quotas -> Assign decution rules to counting rules
 
3. Also, check if the Counting Rule 00 is assigned to the Absence in T554S. Also check the Validity dates in these tables.

Verify whether have you assigned your counting rule to the Absence type:
 
SPRO -> Time Management -> Time data recording administration -> Absences -> Absence catalog -> Absence counting -> Rules for absence counting (old) -> Assign counting rules to absence types
