A pay scale area is a special area in which a collective agreement is valid.

Pay scale grouping for allowances

Indicates a grouping for a set of employees with similar characteristics regarding compensation and benefits based on the following:

Pay scale area

Pay scale group

Pay scale level

Employee subgroup grouping for collective agreement provision.

This grouping determines eligibility and amounts for various allowances, reimbursements and perks for an employee as per the company specified rules.
