Define Object Information Keys

In OIMD transaction you can select the Contract automatic display, by this you don't have to go and choose the option for contract determination. But if you maintain serial number and material number on the service contract system will definitely show you the list of contracts available in case if you have multiple contracts.

After maintaining OIMD please assign this profile to the respective notification type you are using.

Assign Object Information Keys to Notification Types

Configuration

Step 1: 

IMG transaction Menu path : 

Plant Maintenance -> Customer Service -> Master Data in Plant Maintenance -> Customer Service -> Basic Settings -> Define Object Information Keys

Transaction code for above menu path: OIMD

Details of Configuration/changes:.

Object Information key “SM” is used with following example parameters

a) Check box for “ Automatically” Popup activated

b) No of days for time frame 365 days

c) Breakdown reported 2 nos

d) Notifications created 5 nos

e) Service order created 3 nos

f) Processing days 10 days

g) Completed notification 4 nos

h) Completed orders 2 nos

i) Check box for selection of outstanding and completed notification activated

j) Radio button for automatic display “if contract “ activated.

k) Classification views and display Automatic view=1, Display view=2, checkbox for characteristic activated.

Step 2: 

Assign Object Information Keys to Notification Types.

IMG transaction Menu path : 

Plant Maintenance ? Customer Service -> Maintenance and Service Processing -> Notifications ->  Object Information -> Assign Object Information Keys to Notification Types

Transaction code for above menu path: OIML
