Usage History Update.

IMG transaction Menu path: 

Plant Maintenance & Customer Service -> Master Data in Plant Maintenance & Customer Service -> Technical Objects -> Equipment -> Equipment Usage Period -> Usage History Update

Transaction code for above menu path: OIEH

Details of Configuration/changes:

Indicator for maintaining Usage History for equipment master maintained for all the equipment categories as defined above activated.

This setup will maintain a record of changes to the equipment master data.

Define History Related Fields.

History Related Fields

For e.g. for our setup:

For reference category “S” fields End Customer and Work center added to the standard list.

These will be the fields which, when changed, will lead to a record being made in the usage history.
