Uploading Project From MSP To SAP PS

Using ECC 6 and had downloaded openps4msp.  The downloading is fine but when I change the same project, e.g. dates, I am getting error network does not exist. Now this network is the same which I had downloaded.

Answer:

You can do this:

1.- Open the project using Microsoft project.

2.- Erase the network number you see in the column "Network"

3.- Click on "Connect.

4.- Click on "Upload"

5.- In the Open PS Wizard. Select the Project definition, Project profile, Network profile, Network type, Plant and MRP controller.

6.- Click on "Finish"

or

Try this:

Open the Microsoft project document you want to upload using Microsoft Project. Insert the columns "Network". and "Object type".

Summary tasks would be object type "WBS element" and subordinates activities should be object type "Network activity"

Check if the network M40574370860 is in the column "Network"

Erase the network number M40574370860 you see in the column "Network" save and open the file again.

Then, click the icon Connect to SAP System (be sure you are connected to the appropriate client).

Finally click on Upload project to SAP PS. The Open PS action log will tell you "Project was created successfully"

Notes:

Give some thoughts to this:

Are you going to update periodically the project using MSP and then uploading to SAP?   Do you have an interface or you are going to do that manually?

I uploaded the project from MSP once, but we manage the project in SAP. We don't have interface.
