| PP/DS Heuristic Question
When executing a PP/DS Heuristic we want to plan only
a certain amount of products. In the selection criteria of the Production
Planning Run (background processing) we cannot enter the restrictions which
lead to the desired scope of products to be planned (Propagation Range,
Object 'Products' are not sufficient). Somehow we want to base the selection

I do not know how you can accomplish this w/o APO, although
you may be able to.
With APO each R/3 instance can use the same part number
aslong as each uses its own Business System Group. You will
need to modify CIF a little, but it should work.
In KC we have a unique part number trough Latin America
for finished products, semielaborated and raw materials. Implement
this is very hard because you need a team of master data that all countries
because first you have to prepare all the codes that you go to upload,
then you have to standarize the codes with a unique part number.
